We love to travel. Like really love to travel. Even though we have amazing fisheries we guide in California and Montana, every once in a while, it’s nice to get out of town and experience new places. Places that seem foreign to us and yet are somewhat familiar when you have a fly rod in your hand. Places that are wild, untouched, and epic fly fishing experiences. We love sharing these places with our clients and showing them trips that will fill their memory banks with endless stories and insane fishing moments. Moments that we replay in our minds over and over as we dream about what the next trip is going to bring.

As we host you across the country and world, we only work with the best lodges, guides, fishing locations, and accommodations available. We pride ourselves in giving a high-end fly fishing trip that you will be grateful you went on.

Wydaho

Each year we head to the edge of Western Wyoming and Eastern Idaho (Wydaho) in search of some of the best dry fly fishing you can find in the Western United States. Our home base for the week is going to be in the beautiful Star Valley, WY about one hour Southwest from Jackson Hole. Star Valley sits at 6,000 feet and is surrounded by mountains, rivers, and endless trout that love to rise to dry flies. If you love watching trout rise to large foam dry flies, then this trip is for you.

The trip is 5 nights/4 days of guided fishing for cutthroats, rainbows, and browns. We will be staying in a custom home that overlooks the Star Valley. Trust me, the sure beauty of this place is going to take your breath away. Rooms will be shared with two people per room. Each person will have their own private bed. All food is included with three meals a day. Breakfast and dinner will be a variety of delicious home cooked meals and lunch will be provided by the guides.

The fishing will consist of fishing the first two days on the South Fork of the Snake River in Idaho. The South Fork, as the locals call it, is one of the top 10 fisheries in the west. This large tailwater is full of big trout with fish averaging 15-17” and 20”ers being common place. Each year fish in the 24+” range are landed on the South Fork. If you love casting large dry flies and hooking really big trout in the process, then this river has to be on your bucket list. The South Fork never disappoints.

The last two days of the trip will find you fishing the upper Snake River near Jackson, WY. We tend to focus on the canyon stretch of the Snake where there are less people and anglers. The upper Snake doesn’t have the large trout that the South Fork does. However, what the river lacks in size of fish, it makes up in sure numbers. The upper Snake has lots of cutthroat in the 12-17” range that love to rise to dry flies. These fish love rising over and over to a well presented fly. These last two days leave you smiling and laughing as you enjoy the true beauty and joy of dry fly fishing.

Puerto Rico

Each year we choose a handful of saltwater fly fishing destinations to take our clients to. In 2025 we will be hosting 6 anglers to Puerto Rico chasing tarpon and permit at the famous No Name Lodge. No Name Lodge is a new destination that just popped up on the fly fishing map in 2022. The immense amount of mind blowing videos, images, and stories being told about this place were insane. Naturally, we had to dig into it to see if all of the legends were true. As we talked to fly fishing industry professionals, they all raved about the experience, the location, and the epic fly fishing. Instantly we were intrigued and we knew that we had to go check this place out. In June of 2025, we will be hosting 6 anglers to go experience some of the best juvenile – medium sized tarpon found on this entire planet. We can’t wait to share our experience with you all.

Trinity River

We love steelhead. There may not be a better freshwater game fish living in this world. They are big, challenging, and live in incredible places. What more could you want than that? Well, how about a fish that does lots of acrobatic jumps? Or rips off tons of backing in a blink of an eye? Or a fish where even the best anglers in the world only land half of them? Yep, steelhead are all of those things as well. If we had to choose one fish to chase for the rest of our lives, it would be a steelhead. They are badass fish that every angler needs to experience.

Each December we host a group of clients to the Trinity River for a fun packed weekend to raise money for Cast Hope. Cast Hope is a fly fishing organization that takes underserved kids into the outdoors and teaches them how to fly fish. We use the sport of fly fishing to encourage them, show them what healthy relationships look like, and connect them to something greater in our natural environments. Come join us for an incredible weekend as we chase steelhead and raise money for kids.

The weekend entails 3 nights/2 days guided fishing on the Trinity River. We stay at the comfortable Indian Creek Lodge right on the edge of the river. Three meals a day are provided. Then we spend two days floating the Trinity in drift boats as we search the steelhead runs. The Trinity is an intimate narrow river full of deep runs and big boulders, water that steelhead love to sit in. There are over 50 miles of river to choose from as we hunt for these fish. Most days end up with the boat hooking 4-6 steelhead in the 5-10lb class. However, each year our group finds fish in the 12-14lb class.

This weekend is an absolute blast as we chase steelhead, eat great food, and raise money for kids.

Pyramid Lake

You want the chance at catching some of the largest trout that live in the entire planet? How about catching a 20-pound trout? At this moment you are probably thinking, yeah right that doesn’t exist. Quite to the contrary. Pyramid Lake, an hour northeast from Reno, Nevada, has some of the largest trout to swim on earth. Pyramid is full of really large cutthroats. Cutthroats that are frequently 10 pounds or more. A 10 pounder at Pyramid is a “good one”, but not a monster by any means. People flock to Pyramid every winter and spring in hunt of the 20-pound trout. The crazy part, is that people catch them frequently.

Each year we host a group of anglers to Pyramid in search of the MEGA trout. We put together a fun weekend of 3 nights/2 days of guided fishing with all meals provided. We stay in comfortable permanent trailers right near the lake and we eat great food. The best part of this trip are the insanely large trout that you catch. Each year trout in the 15–20-pound class are caught by our group. If you’re the angler that loves chasing trophy fish, then this is the perfect trip for you. The cherry on top is that while you are on the hunt, you are raising money for Cast Hope to get more underserved kids fly fishing in the outdoors.

Lower Sac

You want to be part of a really fun Lower Sacramento River Fly Fishing Tournament? Each year we get together 40-50 anglers to see who can come out on top as anglers and teams. We host a two-day fly-fishing tournament on the Lower Sac between Redding and Red Bluff. This event is two days of guided fly fishing and two awesome hosted meals. You will be targeting the strong fighting rainbows of the Lower Sac during absolute prime time. We plan this event during May to align the tournament with great fishing and bug hatches on the river. What results is a great two days of catching fish, creating relationship, and raising money for the kids of Cast Hope.

This is a great event to bring your friends to and have your company sponsor a boat. The fishing is easy, the event is warm and friendly, and we all let a bit of our competitive side out to see who will be the top angler of the year. Bring a family member, a co-worker, or even your buddy, and come have a great weekend.
